Pure White Prettiness

Before we get to the furniture, I just had to show off a few of my favorite finds lately. I love this little brass & glass elephant & duck set. And the scale?! Love that stork. So perfectly chippy and vintage. If I were to ever decorate a nursery, I think it just might start with these two items. I love the sweet simple lines of this vintage dresser. Whimsical Couch

I know, I know I said never another couch! But hubby got this one and so it another couch it is. . . And I’m glad I did it. I love how this one turned out. The fabric is from Jo-Ann’s and the paint is Aubusson Blue color Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan with Dark Wax. And 900 miles of piping. Light gray dresser & Easter fun!

I hope you all had a wonderful Easter Weekend! We took a few days off to visit my parents house and do some junking! My eternal labor of “love”–the empire style couch

Justin picked up the shell of this couch last summer. It was practically stripped bare, except for the arms which still had their hog hair batting–YUCK!!! One day in early fall Justin decided we where going to get it finished. Need a bit of sun shine?

Ground hog got you down? How about a bit of sunshine for your house?!   Justin painted up this set in Chalk Paint® decorative paint by Annie Sloan in Arles. Clear and dark waxed. Knobs were repainted with Krylon Oil Rubbed Bronze. Happy Spring!

Another William and Mary redo!

Here’s another set to make you not give up on that gorgeous mess of an antique in your garage!
